I had a pretty low key weekend since Brian worked this weekend. Yesterday I did a lot of reading for class. I also did a lot of laundry and cleaned the bathroom. I felt very productive! Today after church and lunch in the food court at the mall with Brian, I sat at Starbucks for a few hours doing more reading and some paper grading. On my way home I stopped in and visited Brian at work. I got a nice tour of the "barn," which is where he is often stationed. It was a slow day in the yard. I got home and then went up to the office for a few more hours of work.
Now it's time to take a break! It's going to be another busy week. I'm giving two exams and have a take-home exam due too. My goal is to get everything graded by Friday afternoon because that's when Brian and I are on our way to Portland for spring break. I am so excited to see my friends. I can hardly believe it, but it's been nine months since the last time I saw them! It's a much needed reunion for me! We're also going to go to Bend, Oregon for a few days to ski Mt. Bachelor. That's the part Brian is most excited about :) I'll save the rest of the details so we have something to blog about next week.

Kate just assumes I'm most excited to ski. I do love to ski, but there are a lot of other things to do and people to see. I'll keep you updated on what my trip highlights are.
Wow! You live on the north coast, you'll have been to the east and west coasts in a span of a couple months. When are you headed to the south coast...or do you want Jill to take that trip for you? Oh, wait! She IS going to Texas on Wednesday!
It sounds like fun. I hope the blog entries come in like when you headed east.
