It's been awhile since our last post...sorry about that! Brian was down with a nasty cold for a couple of weeks and I was trying to finish up all the things on my to-do list for J-term. It's a beautiful but (very) cold Saturday morning and it seems like as good a time as any for an update. Brian is hard at work planning the summer garden (we went to Menards yesterday to pick out seeds). Maya is busy walking around in a single boot she put on herself. She's developing a very...let's just say interesting sense of style. It usually involves at least one boot and a tutu.
I'm working on some chicken tortilla soup in the crockpot and getting caught up on laundry (and blog posts!). It's rare that we have a whole day with nothing on the agenda for anyone. Maya even managed to sleep in until almost 8, so we have had a nice leisurely morning around the house.

I am impressed how good she is at entertaining herself! All she wants is empty boxes and various things laying around the house! (katesma)
