Garden update

With all this rain, lots is growing out at the cabin garden (including the weeds!). Here are some highlights...

Vine of some type...watermelon? cantaloupe? zucchini? squash? cucumber? Not quite sure with all the little hands who helped to plant :)

Lettuce patch...yep, we were aiming for a lettuce row, but this does help explain why the row came up a little sparse. I'm sure it will still taste good, though!

The new garden tool bin. We've got gloves, spades, knee pads, and a binder full of information about the garden. I even put in a bunch of plastic bags so that we're ready to harvest! We're leaving this outside so people in our garden group can stop by and work or pick when we're not around.
My favorite (not!). Brian picked a few last night, but I didn't hear whether they were good or not.
Here's a good view of the garden. You can see the tomato plants in the foreground looking great! We mulched between a couple of the rows to try to keep the weeds down. So far, so good!

A few rows of the corn didn't come up, so Brian re-tilled and planted again with the help of Brenna B. There's already a few coming up!
This one should be a cantaloupe!
