Who among us wants a fungus?

A buddy at work was out turkey hunting and came across "more morels than he could carry". He had a TON and was giving lots away. Here's a shot of the bounty before we ate 'em.
These ascocarps are prized by gourmet cooks, particularly for French cuisine. Commercial value aside, morels are hunted by thousands of people every year simply for their taste and the joy of the hunt. The American state of Minnesota has adopted the morel as its state mushroom.

I'm one of the lucky people who got to taste Brian's sauteed gourmet morel mushroom appetizer. They were delicious. It was a first for me. Thanks, Brian.
