Our little elf

We had a fabulous first Christmas with Maya.  Believe it or not, we managed to take only a handful of pictures.  Luckily, there were a lot of other cameras around, so I'm sure we'll get to see more eventually.  For now, here is a shot of Maya in the Christmas outfit Aunt Tricia gave her.

We celebrated with the Knutsons on Christmas eve morning with a delicious breakfast and then moved downstairs to open gifts.  Both Brian and I pulled off semi-surprises for the other...it's difficult to do when you share a computer and financial accounts!  My surprise was a Nook color and Brian's was a GPS.  We maybe should have coordinated spending on our surprises :)  Maya was also very spoiled this year with toys, books, and clothes.  We came home with a few more hand-me-down toys from Natalie and Harvey which, I'm sure, will make an appearance on the blog soon.  For now, here's a video of some low-tech fun with daddy.

Not only did I get behind on my own posting over Christmas, apparently I got behind on everyone else's blogs and missed a couple of these. I learned about this one from Bev and Fay as they had seen it out at K's over the holidays. Smart baby!!!
