Date night

Last night we went on a date night with a few of the other couples from our small group.  This is a group from our church that has been meeting weekly for about four years...this means that we tend to get a little silly together.

We decided to try out the new winery that's just a few miles from St. Peter, Chankaska Creek.  It was amazing!  The winery just opened a few months ago and I'm glad we finally made it out.  The wine and food were great, but the place itself was amazing!  They must have put a million dollars into renovating the place.  The building is gorgeous and the landscaping was...well, amazing!  If you are ever a visitor to St. Peter, there's a good chance we'll take you there.

Thanks to an afternoon thunderstorm, the day cooled off enough that we could sit on the deck enjoying our wine and wood fired pizzas looking over the creek.  After a few glasses, we took a walk around the property and posed for some photos on the bridge over the creek.

Like I said, we get a little silly together :)

Oh, and in case you were wondering, Maya stayed home with a babysitter, went to bed early, and slept through the whole night!  Yep, I'd say the whole night was a success!
