For one thing, there's a full roof!
Today was spent shingling. Brian had a little help for a few hours. 
More to do tomorrow...I did a little weeding and some harvesting this weekend, but mostly I hung out in the shade and read. The tomatoes and basil are great. I made big batches of pesto on Friday and today, which I froze. We will have some yummy pesto pasta to look forward to this winter! Tonight I made a homemade pizza with tomatoes, summer squash, and basil from the garden. It was delicious! Hopefully I can repeat it :)

I need to check out your pesto post a little closer on Facebook and look at that recipe. I like that stuff even if Jill doesn't.
the kids needed a Brian and Kate fix, so we're looking at old blog posts. The top picture in this post FREAKS Natalie out. She's sure he's at the edge of the world, about to fall off!!
