After WAY too many days of rain and gloom, we finally got a nice sunny day last Sunday. Brian and I took advantage of it with a walk around campus.
Since then, it's been nice and dry. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the river beds around here. Yesterday they closed down Hwy 99 (the one that goes from St. Peter to our cabin) because the river was up to the bridge. We went down to check it out today and here's what we found.
Luckily, there is more than one way to get to the cabin, so after gawking at the river we went out there to do a little work and grill out for the first time this season. As you can see, it was still a little chilly despite the sun.

The river looks high. I'm glad you have two ways in and out of your cabin. =)
I guess we gotta get grillin'! Jon and Mindy have grilled a couple times too.

Love that the grill picture is taken from inside! :) That's a lot of water...good grief. Glad at least the sun has come to say hello.
