Cookies

Brian's family has a tradition of baking and decorating sugar cookies at Christmastime.  We've never been able to make it over for the full production, but this year Cher suggested that we make a small batch with Maya.  It was a bit of a mess, but Maya sure had a blast.

Maya helped flour the cookie cutters

A few nights later, she helped us frost and decorate them.  This only lasted for a few minutes until she figured out that it was much more fun to eat the sprinkles!

I can't believe grandma Cher hasn't made her an apron yet!

I almost daily look at a blog or two of Maya, and tonight I compared blogs from December of last year. My oh my how she has grown. No longer a baby, but now a little cute girl. Such fun to see her developing into such a happy child. Great parenting, guys! You have totally adored her through every stage of growth. (katesma)
