We had quite the blizz come through town this weekend. This opening shot is in the middle of the storm. You can't even see the end of the block from the apartment. The path leading home.
My mode of transportation on the lake. Prius? Nope, just areo-dynamic drifts like a prius. The storm started with rain and ice. This shot below is cracked ice over a layer of snow and then blown clean of the 15 odd inches of snow that came after. Every step you take makes a crackle. These "frosted flakes" are some of the biggest I've seen. Some are more than an inch and a half long. It's amazing what a circular polarizer can do to pop atmospheric colors. "Blue and berries" is a great example.

Wow, what amazing pictures! Enjoy the snow. Phyllis
Your photos are great. What amazes me is that a few of them COULD be lava rock formations here, and a couple COULD be sand dunes! But they were all of snow, right?? (katesma)

Wonderful pictures!
Yep! There's a budding career here in photography.(Not that we haven't known that all along)
There are some fabulous shots in there. Totally fabulous. Seriously.
Cool pictures Brian! You should definitely print & frame some of those and they'd be great wall art for the cabin. Jill
