Bad Bloggers!

Yep, that's us...bad bloggers. Sorry about that. It's been another busy week here, but a little less stressful (at least for me). Brian's still working a lot. I've kept busy with my extra two classes. So far, so good. Last night we met with our small group from church. We've been reading the book "Irresistible Revolution" by Shane Claiborne. Brian and I had already read it and actually recommended it to the group as our new topic. Part of the reason we recommended it was because Shane is going to be coming to Gustavus this spring and we thought it would be neat to have a chance to hear him speak in person. Our discussions of it the past two weeks have been awesome! It's really striking a chord with a lot of people in our group and we've started to dream about ways we can respond to some of the challenges he poses in the book. For example, we're putting together a "pass it along" list for our church members so that people can give items they don't need/use anymore to people who need them. We're also talking about ways we can serve our community better in both big and small ways. It's fun to dream and plan with other people! Cool!
